Pauls journey has been an arduous one. One that has tempered him into the most glorious of image takers.. Pauls photos are bold and fearless ... I love his work.. TOP SNAPPER!

Katie and Shaun Himsworth

We booked Paul for our wedding after a friend recommended him to us. When we saw his previous work on the website we fell in love with his style, it was exactly what we were looking for. Paul has an amazing talent and his work his world class. We found him to be very professional and laid back at the same time. He interacted very well with all our guests and everybody felt very comfortable with him. Paul has provided us with a beautiful set of timeless photographs of our special day that we can enjoy and treasure. We really can thank him enough and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend him in future.

Jo and Mike Dewsnip

We got married in Oct 2016 at the cloisters in Bolton. As most married couples know it can be hectic in the lead up to a wedding and we didn't give much thought to which photographer to use as we thought they are all the same. How wrong we were. Paul is definitely not your average wedding photographer (just look at his portfolio) We contacted Paul as he was a photographer working at a friends charity gig. When we met Paul we told him we were having a music themed wedding and the three of us bounced ideas off each other. Paul took the most beautiful photos of our special day and we had lots of fun too and Paul ensured all our ideas were captured. We had not met Paul before our pre wedding meet but he is such a nice bloke that we both now think of him as a friend and his stunning photography perfectly preserves our wedding memories (we could not be happier with them) His photos definitely have that Wow factor.

Dermo - Northside and Time For Action

Paul has an instinct for instantly knowing what to look for when taking photographs. He seems to understand you in a way that only you would yourself, and this comes out in his work. He makes you feel completely at ease, but at the same time ready to do something you wouldn't normally have dreamed of doing, to capture that unique moment in his lens. The man's an artist and the world's his canvas.

Paul is an inspired eye, and creative mind, he always captures something that no other photographer would see , his art is visceral energetic and fun, his images are vibrant and full of life , have a look at his masterpieces and see the world through his eyes

Guy Garvey - Elbow http://elbow.co.uk/

Paul's the most naturally gifted photographer I've ever come across. He shows a rare sensitivity towards people.

Alan Sparhawk - Low http://chairkickers.com/

Paul takes some rad pictures, just stunning. My favourites in ages!

Marc Riley (BBC Radio DJ)

Paul possesses that most unique of talents. It's the one that allows people to recognise your work in isolation. His photos have a unique other-worldly quality. I love them. I think he's my favourite photographer. He even made me look cool(ish). No mean feat.

Paul and ourselves have collaborated now on a few separate occasions. We return to work with Paul as his photographs feel Natural, creatively focused and most importantly, honest. We envisaged a masterpiece together, that the powers that be (the police and security at Camelot) brutally forced us out of. But with every skill I attribute to Paul he managed to create something off the cuff with nothing more than a bathtub and an extremely angry farmer's field. This determination is not only honourable but exactly what Bands need at all levels of success. Catch him tackling a moshpit some time this year. It's a pleasure to watch. He strikes the most fearsome determination i've ever seen in a live show photographer, the talent the man possesses in taking pictures in a feral moshpit seems to astonish me. It's a boundary he pushes to capture an energy that we as a band try to emulate through music so to see someone in a crowd breaking through in is own medium of art is an honour to witness.

Paul and Ginny Lusignan

We booked Paul for our wedding following see the amazing pictures he produced for our friends Sue and Geoff's wedding earlier in the year.  We were absolutely delighted we did as we now have the most brilliant collection of photos with which to remember our day.  Paul worked an incredibly long day and nothing was too much bother - he was very concerned to get pictures of everyone and everything of our day.  There are many real stand out photos of our day of the wedding preparations, friends, family and our venue.  We have no hesitation in recommending Paul - I think the photos he produced are far above what you would get with a more conventional wedding photographer and a lot more memorable.  He has a great eye for a good photo.  Thank you Paul you have captured life long memories for us of our special day.

Paul captured our day perfectly. We have had so many compliments on our wedding photographs and it is easy to see why. They are exactly how we wanted them to be; dreamy, atmospheric and natural. He has a real talent for creating a calm , serene moment in amongst such chaos. Paul is a really friendly hard working guy and worked so hard to edit our pictures quickly after the wedding. We couldn't be happier. Thank you Paul.

Paul joined us to photograph my father’s 60th birthday – a big family gathering in the Lake District. He captured the mood of the celebration and the vibe of our large family perfectly through a mix of portraits and relaxed natural shots. Paul’s approach quickly put us at ease and he artfully captured some lovely moments – he has a fantastic eye for a beautiful image. He’s easy to work with, flexible and unobtrusive. Paul gives some direction when it’s needed but lets everyone be themselves, so the resulting photos are really special, reflecting everyone how they actually are. We’re all thrilled with the photos.

Paul's ability to capture an atmosphere is astonishing. He sees around us what we don't until it's framed and presented, and without being demonstrative he's guiding and encouraging. A true artist with a unique interpretation. And a really great bloke.

Bob Brear (TV Series producer & United fan)

Paul kindly agreed to come down to my mother in laws 60th birthday to cover the event. Knowing Paul’s usual high quality work and big name subjects we were amazed he agreed and we couldn’t have been happier. Paul got in amongst it and picked off countless amazing candid shots that really captured the atmosphere of the event. He also managed to organize and encourage both the shy and more boisterous members of our family and friends to pose for some group shots. Capturing images we will cherish forever. All the guests commented on how easy and relaxed he was with everyone and how he made them feel at ease. However, the main thing about Paul’s work was the quality. Every image looked amazing from a simple shot of a pair of sisters laughing through to action shots of dancing and some wonderful pics of the band The Plumedores who appeared on the night. Great framing, colour and use of light. Paul’s got a brilliant eye for a beautiful shot and for the moment inside that frame. Top work from a top bloke. Cheers Paul.

Paul has been a huge asset to the band as we have grown over the past two years. He has kept our online presence current and fresh, but most of all professional. Friendly, open to new ideas and always available Paul is a great photographer remaining flexible in the environment but always with a clear idea of what he wants. We couldn't praise Paul and his work enough and will always advise fellow bands to go straight to him. Paul is the man

Gino Brandolani - Outlier

Paul is an artistic conduit between the sitter and the viewer bringing out the true personality of the subject instinctively. He brings the empathic skills held by the Classical painters into the digital age while remaining figurative and technically outstanding.

What can I say about Paul that has not already been said?  He recently did a charity event for which I am the chairperson.
The charity is Link4pink, helping raise funds for men and women affected by breast cancer at the Royal Oldham Hospital.
The event brought people together who have all been affected by cancer, who took part in a charity fashion show and dinner dance. He was such a lovely man, he mingled in the room throughout the event and not intruding at all. His pictures were AMAZING. His totally natural shots were beautiful and captured the essence of what the night was all about.  Highly recommended.   If you would like to view his pictures from the event the can be found on my charity page. We certainly hope he is involved in many more of our future events. Thanks again Paul.

Geoff and Sue Whelan

We came across Paul's photography after spotting one of his amazing photos on twitter and knew from then he would be perfect for our wedding.
Paul is not your run of the mill photographer. He was there with the bridal party from getting ready in the morning up till the band played late into the night. He blended quietly into our crowd of guests and managed to capture some amazing moments throughout the day. What few shots were staged were truly outstanding. Paul is a genius behind the camera and a thoroughly nice bloke to boot. The pictures that we have from our special day are genuinely iconic, so much so that complete strangers have commented on them (positively!).
If you want someone to capture that perfect moment then Paul is your man. We cannot recommend him highly enough.

Paul is one of the most talented photographers I have ever worked with. He's got his own distinctive style, combining a warm visual palette and a touch of photojournalism. He shoots real people doing everyday things, with a touch of Hollywood glamour.

We are over the moon with our wedding photos. Paul has produced everything we could have wished for and more!  He really listened to what we wanted, made us feel completely at ease throughout the day and worked so hard at capturing every moment in a really creative way.   He is so talented at taking portraits of people and we've come away with the best photos we could ever wish for.  If you are looking for a wedding photographer I can't recommend Paul enough!

"My husband and I used Paul's services on our wedding day (16/08/2014 ) and how lucky we were to have him! I had no idea just how amazing our pictures were going to be . Paul gave us the perfect mix of posed for photos and those taken unawares. His eye for detail is perfect and he has the ability to take an average scene and turn It into a beautiful photograph."

"Paul came to my studio in Leyland last year to photograph my artwork for my new portfolio and website. The photographs he took captured not only the essence of my work, but also the textures of the paintings. The quality of the images when uploaded to my website and printed were outstanding. I will certainly be asking Paul again in future to capture my recent works."

"As a F/T artist, I choose to keep my portfolio up to date with quality photographs to high resolution spec' of any work I do, should I need Fine Art prints later down the line. I have worked with many photographers in my career but when Paul came highly recommended to me, I felt I had to give him a try.
He is a hugely talented photographer. He listens attentively to the brief, demonstrating knowledge of his craft and has a clear eye for detail, which is what I need.
The service that he provides is of high quality and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again and would recommend Paul to anyone."
